Equipment

  • Large pitcher
  • Tea strainer or infuser
  • Citrus juicer
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Tall glasses
  • Mixing spoon

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cold-brewed black tea or use green tea for a twist
  • 4 cups fresh lemonade see instructions for homemade
  • Ice cubes for serving
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Fresh mint optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • To make cold-brewed tea: Add 4 teaspoons loose-leaf black tea (or 4 tea bags) to 4 cups cold filtered water. Steep in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours, then strain.
  • To make homemade lemonade: Mix 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1 cup sugar, and 4 cups cold water. Stir until sugar dissolves. Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • In a large pitcher, combine equal parts cold-brewed tea and lemonade. Stir gently to mix.
  • Fill glasses with ice. Pour the Arnold Palmer mixture over ice.
  • Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Adjust the tea-to-lemonade ratio to your taste. For a stronger tea flavor, use a 2:1 ratio of tea to lemonade. For a sweeter, tangier drink, use more lemonade. Try with green tea, herbal tea, or add fruit infusions for a modern twist. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
