Preparation

  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together.
  • In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture; mix well.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
  • Shape the dough into various forms like stars, flowers, or animals.

Baking

  • Place the shaped dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  • Allow to cool before decorating with colored sugar or icing.

Notes
