Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour Sifted
- 1 cup granulated sugar Adjust to taste
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder Use high-quality cocoa
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs Room temperature
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup water Hot

Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients and mix well.
- Add vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and hot water to the dry mixture.
- Mix until well combined, but do not overmix the batter.
Baking
- Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
